Many times it’s cliché to use the label, “redesigned,” but perhaps a better word has escaped us to define the new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado. Three new EcoTec3 engines lay the foundation for this power plant on wheels: a 4.3L V6, 5.3L V8, and a 6.2L V8. Each engine was designed to deliver more power specific to the requirements of truck users while delivering better fuel efficiency. All three engines can cut back to using four cylinders during light use to further improve fuel efficiency.
A sleek, functional new exterior is mated with a refined interior, one you’d be hard-pressed to find in most other trucks. Lending more toward a luxury vehicle with its 8-inch touch screen and Chevrolet MyLink system, the interior also boasts functional features made specifically for truck customers.
The list of new and improved features on the 2014 Chevy Silverado certainly goes on, and when the truck, set to be released in the second quarter of 2013, comes out, we at Bill Harris GM would love to show you the rest of them in person. Check back here soon to find out more information on Chevrolet’s newest, best Silverado ever.
