While refinement may not be the first word to come to mind when you think of a full-sized SUV, take a look at the all-new 2015 Chevrolet Tahoe and Suburban and refinement may quickly jump to the top of the list. The 2015 versions of these SUVs won’t be available for some time, but we’re getting our first look both inside and out.
Chevrolet carefully sculpted the exterior of both to make them smoother and more aerodynamic. This not only makes the SUVs look good, but it improves efficiency and makes the cabin quieter (reduced wind noise). Once you’re inside, you’re greeted with premium materials and ergonomic designs that make the driver and passengers comfortable.
Making both SUVs perform better on the road is a stronger frame, wider rear track, eighteen-inch wheels that are half an inch wider, electric variable-assist power steering, and new four-wheel-disc brakes. Both will also have a 5.3-liter V8 as standard. This engine incorporates high-tech features, such as cylinder deactivation, continuously variable valve timing, and direct injection to enhance power and efficiency.
