Chevrolet is celebrating 100 years of trucks, and what better way to celebrate than to take a look back at some of the most memorable models that have graced the road throughout the years? Here are a few of our favorite iconic Chevrolet trucks!
1918 Chevrolet One-Ton
Arguably the simplest, most straightforward truck ever created, the 1918 Chevrolet One-Ton was all about function. A rolling chassis, open cab, and four-cylinder engine delivered plenty of capability while allowing drivers to install a body that meet their needs. A striking dark blue bowtie badge offers a sophisticated touch that makes it immediately recognizable to this day.
1967 Chevrolet C-10 Fleetside
Famous partly thanks to its screen time in movies throughout the decades, the 1967 Chevrolet C-10 Fleetside bears a simple, plain look that brought balance to the road. A simple line that flows from the top of the bed to the front of the hood keeps the styling straightforward and easy on the eyes.
2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
A modern truck by all means, the 2007 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 revived the look of the “tough truck.” A muscular stance and a clean sides forged an identity all to itself. With its powerful stance backed by an equally strong powertrain, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 features aerodynamics that made it impressively efficient as well.
The folks here at Bill Harris GM are proud of the long Chevy truck legacy, although we have to admit that we are partial to the current Silverado 1500.
