Lights, camera, Escalade. The all-new 2021 Cadillac Escalade has officially cemented its place as a bona fide pop culture phenomenon thanks to recent awards seasons spots directed by some of Hollywood’s biggest and brightest stars.
The all-new 2021 Cadillac Escalade made its film debut in a short directed by famed auteur Spike Lee. “Anthem” showcases the brand-new Escalade’s essence using Spike Lee’s trademark double-dolly filming style. Of his involvement with the 2021 Escalade, Lee said, “I’m honored to be part of the next generation of the Escalade, which embodies style, luxury and prestige conveyed without pretension.”
This isn’t the only time the Escalade has received the star treatment during the 2020 awards season. Critically acclaimed actress and director Regina King was also involved in presenting a short featuring the all-new Escalade at one of the film industry’s biggest awards shows. King expressed her connection to the Cadillac brand that sparked her involvement: “Cadillac has always represented success…there’s a swagger, a sexiness, to the vehicles. There’s also a realness and a sense of ambition that I identify with.”
The next generation Cadillac Escalade features a powerful 6.2-liter V8 engine capable of delivering 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque in addition to a bevy of new features like Air Ride Adaptive Suspension, Super Cruise™ hands-free driving, and a curved OLED touchscreen display.
The new Escalade is expected to arrive at Bill Harris GM in time for summer 2020. Visit our showroom to learn how you can make the new Escalade yours.
