What’s New for the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox?

The Chevrolet Equinox has long served as one of the most efficient family SUVs in the industry, but now it’s getting even better. General Motors unveiled the all-new 2018 Chevrolet Equinox last fall and sent enthusiasts and critics raving all the way home about the new and improved model designed to tackle the competition and leave it in the dust.

A part of revitalizing the entire Chevrolet lineup, the all-new Equinox marks the beginning of the new and improved crossover and SUV segment. The latest model rolls out with muscular fenders, sculpted curves, and many more details, including standard LED daytime running lamps.

Inside, the 2018 Chevrolet Equinox features a 7- or 8-inch touchscreen with the Chevrolet MyLink infotainment system. An available built-in Wi-Fi hotspot is available, as is Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.

The 2018 Equinox arrives with an available 1.6-liter turbo-diesel four-cylinder engine that delivers up to an estimated 40 mpg highway.* Other engine options include 1.5- and 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinders.

Redesigned from the ground up, the new Equinox weighs 400 pounds less than its predecessor and offers an impressive 63.5 cubic feet of cargo space.

We here at Bill Harris GM can’t helped but be impressed by the sight of the all-new 2018 Chevrolet Equinox!
